Remove grease from utensils

Tea bags are great for removing stubborn grease from plates, pots and rustic pans. Soak the utensils in a hot water blend with old tea bags. Soak for a few hours or overnight and wash it nicely with a liquid dishwashing soap. The compounds in tea help in removing the scum deposition and oily grease naturally.

Clean cooktop and microwave

Right after brewing your tea, take a pan and soak in the used tea bags. Once the blend attains room temperature, add it to a spray bottle along with a dash of lime juice. You can clean surfaces with this blend. Just spray it on the cook top or slab or glass tables, using a cloth or kitchen towel to clean the surface. For better results use lukewarm blend of used tea bags.

Soften meat

Planning to cook meat, but want to reduce your cooking time? Then this meat hack is perfect for you! Marinate the meat in a blend of black tea. The presence of tannis in the tea will help in softening the meat and reduce the cooking time. To make the blend, just add some hot water to a large bowl, steep in the used tea bags, once the flavour is released marinate the meat.
