Navratri has begun and it’s that time of the year, when devotees leave no stone unturned to impress Goddess Durga. From observing austertious fasts to following a sattvik diet, there are times when the body needs ample nourishment to keep up with the 9-day long fasts. Here are 9 simple drinks, which are naturally rich in nutrients and can replenish and rehydrate the body.

Coconut water
Fresh coconut water is one of the best natural drinks to rehydrate and maintain a healthy electrolyte balance in the body. Loaded with nutrients, this refreshing drink can be consumed as a mid meal drink as this can help improve metabolism.

Lemon water
Nimbu pani is a simple drink that can instantly rejuvenate and rehydrate the body. Just squeeze fresh lemon juice into a glass of water and add a pinch of rock salt (sendha namak) for flavour along with some sugar or honey. Sipping this drink in warm water without adding sugar and honey can also help with weight loss.
