Samosa types that you must try

Crispy on the outside and a yummy filling, samosa is a delicious snack that we all enjoy on chilled winter evenings. Best enjoyed with a cup of tea/coffee, there are several variations of samosa that you must try at home. Here are some of the most popular samosas that can be easily made at home. 2/9

Aloo Samosa

This is one of the most common samosas that you can enjoy as it's easily available across the country. It's crispy, flaky and the filling is something to die for in the chilled winters. With a spicy potato filling, this samosa is best enjoyed with a cup of hot tea.

3/9

Maggi Samosa

The love for Maggi is world-known, and how about a samosa stuffed with it? Don’t be surprised, as we bring you the recipe of Maggi Samosa. The procedure for making samosa is the same, the only difference is that you must add the freshly made Maggi as the stuffing of samosas, and then deep fry it.

4/9

Chilli Cheese Samosa

This samosa is prepared by making a mixture of cheese, boiled potatoes and green chillies. This samosa is super-delicious in taste and is baked to perfection at 200 degrees C for 15 minutes. However, this samosa is also best enjoyed as fried only.

5/9

Chocolate Samosa

This sweet samosa is made by stuffing it with a mixture of melted chocolate and dry fruits and then sealing it. Further, it's deep-fried and then dipped in thick sugar syrup.

6/9

Paneer Samosa

If you are someone who doesn’t like the plain-old potato samosa, then this samosa is for you. It has a filling of spicy paneer mixture with onion and then sealed. Afterwards, the samosa is fried to perfection and is best enjoyed with green chutney.

7/9

Keema Samosa

This Samosa finds a special mention in Ramadan and is a variation, where the filling is made of minced mutton and a melange of spices and yoghurt. This samosa is sealed with flour paste and is then left for drying. Once the sealing is dried well, this samosa is fried and enjoyed with pudina chutney.

8/9

Egg Samosa

This samosa can be made in two ways. One way is to stir fry the boiled potatoes with scrambled eggs and then stuff them to make a samosa. The other way is to make egg bhurji with chopped tomatoes, onions and spices and then stuff it to make a samosa. You can fry them well after filling, and mind you this combination is just out of the world in winters.

9/9

Pizza Samosa

The mere mention of this samosa will bring water to your mouth. This samosa is made by making a filling of all the pizza toppings like mushrooms, peas, onion, tomato, black olives and bell peppers, sweetcorn, broccoli. Mix all or some of these vegetables with lots of mozzarella cheese and mayonnaise and spices like black pepper, oregano and chilli flakes. Stuff the samosa with this mixture and deep fry them. You can also bake this samosa. Enjoy!
