Seasoning
Don’t discard onion or garlic peels, if you love their enticing aroma and flavour. This is because the presence of vital nutrients and flavour in their peels can be reused in the form of seasoning, just sun dry the washed peels or bake them till they are dehydrated and grind into a smooth powder and store in airtight containers.

Infused oil
Another smart way of using citrus peels or peels or aromatic veggies can be to make simple infused oil for salads. To make this just make lemon zest or extract the peels and let them dry up in the sunlight, then add them to any oil and let it infuse for a few days before using as a salad dressing.

Vegetable Scraps
Don’t throw vegetable peels and stalks as carrot peels, onion skins, and celery leaves. These can be used to make homemade vegetable broth or stock, adding flavor to soups, stews, and sauces.

Stale Bread
This is how you can save money by making homemade bread crumbs by reusing stale or old bread, just sun dry or bake or air fry till they are golden and crisp. Grind them and store, use them for making breaded delicacies or coating cutlets.

Overripe Bananas
Overripe bananas can be used to make banana bread, smoothies, pancakes, or frozen for future use in baking or smoothies. They add natural sweetness and moisture to baked goods.

Citrus Peels
Don't discard citrus peels; instead make a zest and add them to flavor the dishes like salads, marinades, baked goods, or pasta. You can also infuse water or vinegar with citrus peels for a refreshing drink or homemade cleaning solution.

Coffee Grounds
Used coffee grounds can be repurposed as a flavor enhancer in recipes like chocolate desserts, marinades, room freshener and scrubs for skin care. They can also be used as a natural fertilizer for plants.

Potato Peels
Potato peels can be baked or fried to make crispy snacks. Simply toss them with olive oil, seasonings, and bake in the oven until crispy. They can also be added to homemade vegetable broth for extra flavor.
