The irregular eating habits, late-night work hours, and stress—all these lifestyle habits often lead to severe health issues. And to fight these, the humble kitchen ingredients can be used in the simplest ways. Wondering how? Method: Crush or blend the leaves with 1/2 glass water, strain, and drink fresh on an empty stomach.
Why: Curry leaves demonstrate significant blood sugar-lowering, insulin-secreting, and pancreatic protective effects in experimental diabetes models, supporting their potential as an antidiabetic herb needing further clinical validation.

5/8

For blood pressure

Ingredients: 1 cucumber, 1 handful coriander leaves, 8 sprigs of celery, and a pinch of rock salt.

Ingredients: 2 tbsp rice (red or kolam rice) and 2 cups water
Method: Cook till soft, strain, and drink the water.
Why: The study suggests that red rice has potential as a natural therapeutic ingredient to support gut health and manage inflammatory bowel conditions. This highlights the role of red rice in improving gut barrier function, reducing inflammation, and promoting intestinal healing, indicating its benefit for overall gut health.

8/8
