Right way to consume these shots

We often read that we are what we eat. And that is the reason Ayurveda even suggests eating the right food as per the requirement of the body to keep the gut, heart, and skin healthy. In a recent post on Instagram, celebrity nutritionist Shweta Shah shared a list of 5 shots of recipes made with fruits and vegetables that one can consume regularly for a healthy gut and glowing skin. She mentioned these shots as bridal glow shots that women can use as their pre-wedding skincare secret that starts in your glass, not your vanity. Classic Amla Glow Shot

To make this, mix 30 ml amla juice, 1/2 tsp honey, a pinch of saffron, and 1/2 tsp ghee.
Benefits: As per Shweta, it helps boost collagen, detoxifies liver, fades pigmentation, and adds natural glow

Beetroot-Carrot Skin Booster

To make this, blend 1/2 beetroot, 1 carrot, 1 inch ginger, and 1 tsp lemon juice.
Benefits: It is rich in beta carotene that helps skin repair. It also improves blood circulation and reduces dullness.

Saffron Rose Elixir

For this, you need 2-3 saffron strands soaked overnight. Mix it with rose water, and 1 cup warm water or almond milk.
Benefits: It enhances glow and reduces tanning. It also hydrates and cools skin and is perfect before bedtime glow and offers calmness.

Lemon Turmeric Morning Tonic

To make it, take 1 glass warm water, add 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp honey, and 1/2 tsp lemon juice to it.
Benefits: It has anti-inflammatory properties, brightens complexion, and flushes out toxins.

Aloe Vera and Mint Digestive Glow Shot

To make it, mix 2 tbsp aloe vera juice, 3-4 mint leaves, a pinch of black salt, and 1/2 glass warm water.
Benefits: It calms the gut, reduces acne and bloating, hydrates from within and also balances pitta dosha.
