l Fashion to me is | A portrayal of an individual or a society’s mood via outfits, accessories and much more. To me it is a perfect blend of style, comfort and confidence.
l 5 essentials of a man’s wardrobe | Nice perfume; basic blue denim; basic white T-shirt and shirt; all-weather shoes; statement sneakers; a good watch.
l My everyday outfit | Sneakers with comfort-fit denims or tracks with a T-shirt, a pair of sunglasses and sometimes, I add a casual jacket to the mix.
l My shopping strategy | Keeping it simple and exclusive is my basic strategy. I am a qualified stylist so I tend to team up various things before I buy them. I don’t usually buy individual items. So it really works out for me.
l Grooming tips | Well-kept hair and well-maintained skin is basic. If you keep a beard, maintain it.
l A fashion trend I hate | Very few things I hate but one that come to my mind are leather pants.
l A trend I love | Checkered suits. Once you get it right, it looks amazing.
l Mankle, heavage… your take | Both are fashionable if done correctly. They give a new dimension to any look. But note, ‘if done the correct way’.
l Your style philosophy | Keep it simple, classy and exclusive. I love fashion and I’m open to experimentation.
l Must-have grooming essentials | Perfume; dental floss; hair styling products; beard oil and
shampoo.
l A fashion advice that you swear by | My dad once told me that confidence in who you are is the most important accessory. I also love what Coco Chanel once said, “Fashion fades, only style remains.”
l A skincare advice from your mom | Multani mitti, chandan powder with rose water in summer and milk in winter.
l Airport looks are... | Cool. Everyone gets to know the latest trends.
l Paparazzi is... | Essential. It helps maintain a collaboration between media and entertainment.
l Your guilty indulgence | Sunglasses, shoes, perfumes and jackets.
