My style quotient
My sense of dressing normally varies with my mood. Style should be something that explains you but at the same time I’m someone who doesn’t spend much time and energy working on it. It’s important for me to be comfortable in what I wear. I wear everything though — from short skirts to dresses and jeans.I follow trends a little but not diligently. Since my job requires me to wear heavy complex clothes, I try and keep my personal style simple.
My colours
I love yellow. I think it really brightens up the day and looks beautiful whether worn on a summer day, in the rains or a cold winter day. Like most women, I own a lot of black and white but try and add a touch of colour whenever I can.
My must-have accessories
A couple of good clutches and evening bags are essential. I also like buying belts. High heels are a favourite but I try and choose a pair that is not too high.
My idea of party wear
It depends on my mood and the event. I can wear anything from gowns to dresses. There are times I dress up to the hilt and otherwise times I keep it casual. I try and avoid very heavy clothes if I’m planning on going dancing.
My little experiments
I’m generally a safe dresser. but there have been times I’ve done wild stuff in my younger days. I’ve coloured my hair pink, blue and even purple. There was a phase when whatever I wore was not coordinated. So I pulled off a red top, blue jeans with green shoes and a yellow bag! Sometimes, I wonder what I was thinking.
