What is your style quotient?
I’ve never followed trends; they change even before you know it! But over time I’ve learnt what suits me. I like stuff that’s chic and fun.
What are the colours you prefer?
Bright ones — coral is my favourite, as is yellow, but again, favourites change every season.
Your must-have accessories?
A stylish sling bag, for one! I like to keep accessories minimal.It’s either a watch or a neckpiece, or sometimes hair accessories or anklets to add drama.
Your idea of party wear?
It depends on my mood and the occasion. Everything works — from dresses to shorts, with a little bling.
Your little experiments in style?
I wore a pink sequinned gown by Neeta Lulla for the Filmfare Awards in 2011 with a messy side-braid… it was written about a lot. Also, a short, feathered dress by Falguni & Shane Peacock at another award show.
Your best fashion buy?
A royal blue Falguni & Shane Peacock dress. It’s classic and accentuates my curves.
Best fashion trend?
Oversized sunglasses; they can glam up any outfit!
Worst fashion trend?
Mullets! I can never digest that haircut. Also ponchos are so unflattering.
Most extravagant purchase?
A diamond ring. I went shopping for my sister’s wedding but bought this for myself!
On your wishlist?
Audrey Hepburn’s wardrobe from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
If you had just two minutes to put together the perfect outfit, what would it be?
A classic dress or jeans and a shirt.
