Wagah Wagah!

The Commonwealth baton ceremony at the Wagah border will be hosted by Delhi-based model-turned-emcee Shefali Talwar.
Confirming the news, Shefali said, “It’s a huge honour for me to host this prestigious event. The baton will arrive at the Wagah border June 25. I’ll wear a saree to show my patriotism towards my country.” Sounding elated, she said, “I’ve also invited a few of my close friends from Pakistan to be there – fashion designer Bina Qureshi, model-turned-actress Natasha Hussain and Pakistani actress Aamna.It will be great to meet them after a long time at the border.”
She added, “It will be an hour long colourful event, with performances by renowned artistes.” And guess who else is going to be there – our star boxer Vijender Singh. When we asked him whether he is planning to attend the Wagah border ceremony, he said, “Bilkul aaunga. How can I miss being a part of such a mega sporting event?”
