Tour de fashion
The finale of 'The Chivas Fashion Tour 2008' concluded in grand style.
The finale saw designers Deepika Govind, Kiran Uttam Ghosh, Mandira Wirk, and Rohit Bal, along with UK-based designers Danielle Scutt and Caroline Charles, showcasing their collections. The show wasn���t low on starry presence either, with model-turned-actress Mugdha Godse being the showstopper for Mandira.
CREATIVITY UNLEASHED
It was not just the clothes, though ��� there was evidence of the designers��� creativity throughout the show. Gudda had strewn red rose petals on the ramp for the models to walk on. Designers Varun Bahl and Rahul Jain were sitting in the front row among others.
INSPIRED?
The designers who presented their collections said they had taken inspiration from various things ��� it was knots and kites for Deepika, the classic appeal for Kiran, light and shadow for Mandira, vibrant colours for Caroline, ���the prominent female characteristic of power and sexuality��� for Danielle, and opulence and romance were the buzzwords for Gudda���s show and it definitely showed in the outfits.
