Moto Chic – that’s what it was as Adidas tied up with designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil to create an exclusive range of young, fresh and vibrant creations, inspired by the black and yellow diagonal stripe caution boards and the New York City cars, people and energy on the streets.
Yes, the adrenaline was pumping with thumping music and tremendous energy flashing across the ramp.

“I’ve got a feeling that tonight’s gonna be a good night...” went the refrain of the hit song by Black Eyed Peas and you got that same feeling as you saw the fun and funky creations scorching the ramp that had touches of that black and yellow look and pointer posts at the backdrop saying ‘Fashion Street,’ ‘Sixth Avenue,’ ‘Times Square,’ ‘Sixth Avenue,’ ‘Subway’ and ‘One Way.’ Targeted at the style-adopting youth, this new sport-inspired collection, including footwear, apparel and accessories, offered new styles that reflected the latest fashion for teenagers and others young at heart. The cuts allowed comfort as well as utility along with being high on style. For women the tops were fitted on the waist and longer in length, leading to a lean look. For men the tees had well-fitted shoulders and bicep hugging sleeves. Printed tapers, loops, mobile pockets, mesh insets and more added to the impact. The collection included a diverse range of tops, T-shirts, polo necks, tunics, track pants, shirts, skirts and shoes along with accessories like bags, belts and wallets.
