Meet the Golden Girl

Lakme has signed on a new face -Indian-American model Liza Golden. She joins Indrani Das Gupta, Amrit Maghera, Vipasha Agarwal, Lisa Haydon and Shraddha Kapoor as their beauty ambassador.
A thrilled Liza says, “I am proud to be associated with the brand, that introduced the concept of make-up to the Indian woman.” Liza will be part of the brand’s advertising campaigns and will also walk the ramp at the Lakme grand finale.
At an exclusive precursor to the LFW, the ‘Fantasy Collection’ co-created by make-up gurus Cory Walia and Clint Fernandes along with designers Gauri & Nainika, was introduced. The make-up experts demonstrated a few products from the new line, inspired by nature. According to Clint, “The easy-to-use products can transform your look in a few minutes.” Cory further adds, “This collection has gorgeous, rich colours that come alive on all Indian skin tones.”
LFW Summer/ Resort 2011 starts today with the Gen Next show. Also in the line up for the week are designers Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Manish Malhotra, Anand Kabra, Priyadarshani Rao, Shantanu & Nikhil along with leading designers from Japan Fashion Week. A promising week indeed!
