In Delhi, PFMI World Manasvi caught up with old friendsEver since Delhi girl Manasvi Mamgai was crowned Pantaloons Femina Miss India World, life’s been a rollercoaster ride. In the midst of all the work, Manasvi made a brief stopover in Delhi for two days and took to the ramp after a long while. The model turned fashion queen says she loved coming back. “I’ve been out of the Delhi circuit for a long time, so I’d almost forgotten the routine - the madness, the pressure, the fun! I’ve done the fashion week in Delhi for four seasons, but since I’ve out been of the city for the last six-seven months, it was great to come and meet my girls again.
There were about 50 of them and it was like a reunion for all of us. So much fun!” says Manasvi.
But, she says that she’s still the same after her win, just that receiving congratulatory messages can be tiring. “I was so sick of the congratulations.” She’s still learning how to deal with the adulation, but it’ll come with time, says she. Right now, she’s busy catching up with family as much as she can, like she did during this trip. The next time around, she says, it’ll be Sarojini Nagar’s turn. “I want to go there and shop!” she declares.Follow us on Twitter for more stories
