LFW kicks off with a bang!

Rohit Bal kicked off the Winter/ Festive season of Lakmé Fashion Week 2011 with quite a show.
The master couturier showed off a stunning collection full of volumnious skirts, lehengas and exquisitely textured and embroidered jackets. Needless to say, he took a bow with his showstopper Arjun Rampal to rousing applause and lots of mogra being sprayed on the audience!
Post the show, the launch party moved to the sprawling outdoor area with some delicious hors d’ouvres being passed around.In attendance were the who’s who of Mumbai, including Queenie Singh, Reena Wadhwa, Anil and Sabina Chopra, Pria Kataaria Puri, Nachiket Barve, Narendra Kumar, Rocky S, Astad Deboo, AD Singh, JJ Valaya, Vipasha Agarwal, and Sangita Sinh Kathiwada, among several others.

-3pm: This afternoon show comprises collections by Parvesh Jai and Famous by Payal Kapoor
-3:30pm: INIFD presents LFW Fashion Workshop Series Edition - V
-4:45pm: The Talent Box Preview Show @ The Source by Kapil and Monika Arora
-5:30pm: DHL Future of Fashion presents — Nachiket Barve, Little Shilpa and Swapnil Shinde
