Kickstarting day 3 is the 12 pm show by Amalraj Sengupta whose collection is inspired by the movie ‘Transformers’ and is all about multipurpose garments. He will be followed by Harangad Singh Jandu. VJB by VJ Balhara, draws inspiration from the head gear worn by most north Indian women.
At 1.30 pm, there will be a show by designer Anand Bhushan. Moving away from the LFW Summer/Resort theme, the designer will present his Fall/Winter line titled Rust.
Using a range of fabrics like silks and French faux pax chiffon in colours like chocolate, burnt lilac, grey and deep wine. Next is Neelanjan Ghosh. His collection is inspired by the colonial influence on Bengalis and Calcutta in general.
The 3 pm show will see Asmita Marwa showcase her collection, followed by Swapnil Shinde.
At 5 pm, Delhi-based designers Shantanu and Nikhil will present Moto
Chic. A show presented by adidas. Their showstopper is the tall and beautiful actress Deepika Padukone. The collection quite naturally
will be edgy, classy and easy to wear. What's best is that the colour palette is one with a twist. Don't miss it!
At 7 pm, check out the Grey Goose presents Malini Ramani show where the talented Malini will showcase five different collections named after a cocktail. Each is totally different, and follows the story of a girl who is travelling around the world to resort places. While the Mexican martini part of the collection has Mayan and Aztec inspired colours and patterns, the Cote Azure Crush has French influences. Stretch fabrics dominate this line.
The 9 pm finale show is by Narendra Kumar who has given denims a raw fresh look. Each garment boasts of immaculate detailing and interesting washes.
