In case you missed what all grabbed spotlight on the fourth day of FDCI's India Couture Week, we've got all the deets for you. From Rahul Mishra's Parizaad collection to Dia Mirza gracing the ramp for Anju Modi's show, here's a roundup of the 4th day:
Parizaad by Rahul Mishra The master of design, Rahul offered something new like every time. The beautiful hand crafted collection featured different shades of embroidery. Inspired by Indian silhouettes, it was a mix of kalidars and lehengas. The intricate design work of vegetable motifs, patterns of mosaic, chevrons and spandrels was a visual treat. The showstopper of the show was his 2-year-old daughter in her mother's arms, making her very first appearance on the runway.
Sunheri Kothi by Anju ModiTaking inspiration from the 16th century Rajasthan and the Sunheri Kothi (Golden Chalet), the collection brought alive the gold emblazoned interiors and intricate architectural details. Looking like a royal bride, Dia Mirza graced the ramp. Walking in ghanghut (veil), she slowly walked the ramp before revealing herself.
