Leaving no stones unturned, day two at the Kochi International Fashion Week (KIFW) saw more glitz and glamour that sparkled throughout the evening. It started with the show by Jules Idi Amin, in association with Xylo. Her collections were based on apple pie and candy pop weaved in fibres of bright colours like orange and green.

Sonali Sehgal was the showstopper for her show.
Following the display of bright hues, designer Jattin Kocchhar displayed his gothic look ensembles based on the theme ‘Black Magic’. Evening gowns, cocktail dresses and a lot of empire lines were a part of his stylishly sophisticated collections.
Designer Vivek Karunakaran who is based in Chennai brought peppy colours into his collection. He showcased sexy collection with vibrant colour palette and ultra-glamorous look.
The show ended with designer Riyaz Gangji’s collection based on the theme ‘ABYSS’. His collection comprised flowy fabric like brocades, georgettes, chiffon, etc. Shwetha Menon and Arjan Bajwa were showstoppers for Riyaz.
The grand finale to be held on Sunday at the Casino Hotel, Willingdon Island, will have designers Megha Grover, Aruna Singh and Sanjana Jon, along with the show by Lawman Pg3. Mamta Mohandas, the brand ambassador of KIFW, Suhasini Manirathnam, Kangana Ranaut and Kartika of the movie ‘Ko’ fame, and more celebrities would walk the ramp for the designers.
