Blenders Pride fashion show

After stunning city fashion lovers on Day One, the Blenders Pride fashion tour 2011 culminated in a glittering finale at the ITC Sonar, Kolkata.
Priyanka Chopra and Shazahn Padamsee scorched the ramp in Neeta Lulla and Asmita Marwa creations, respectively. Day Two belonged clearly to Minissha Lamba who sizzled in a black Rocky S gown.
Other ramp scorchers included Sophie Choudry in a blue Mandira Wirk gown and Kolkata beauty Debi Dutta, who channelled old Hollywood glamour in red lips and a shimmery black Ramona Narang gown.
The tour showcased collections of some of the top designers in the country. While Rina Dhaka’s creations were all about linear simplicity, Asmita Marwa’s were, in her won words, “a metamorphosis of shapes and forms across eras”. Mandira Wirk enhanced her line by including hats as part of the ensemble, whereas Neeta Lulla’s collection was a riot of colours.
