A 'Flashback Bengal' themed fashion show

A design institute celebrated its annual fest by staging a fashion show.
Nusrat Jahan, Moubani Sorcar, Madhabilata Maitra and Satarupa Pyne sashayed down the ramp and mesmerized the audience in outfits designed by the students. Designer Sarbari Dutta was also present at the do.
The show witnessed themes such as ‘Flashback Bengal’, ‘Mango Manila’, ‘Forever Young’, ‘Richie Rich’ and ‘Mock Up’ being reinterpreted through fashion.The show began with Nusrat grabbing eyeballs in a traditional Bengali attire. “While ‘Flashback Bengal’ brought forth the ethnicity of Bengali attire, creations under ‘Sensous Black’ signified opulence of class,” said student Abhishek Kumar.
