Darasing Khurana: My mother was happy to see me dressed as a groom
A source says, “The outfits, jewellery and footwear that were showcased at the fashion fiesta were designed keeping the upcoming wedding season in mind. From the works that were showcased, it felt that light colours, including shades of peach, blue and tan, would be the popular shades for the wedding season.”
Darasing rocked the ramp, as he donned a light peach-pink sherwani that gave him a royal as well as modern avatar. The show was directed by Abhimanyu Singh Tomar. Talking about the experience of being part of the show, Darasing said, “My experience was fantastic. I was dressed as a groom and the music made me feel like one. My mother was the happiest to see me dressed as a groom (laughs!).”
Ask him what he likes the most about walking the ramp, and the model says, “Getting to experiment with different looks is something I love. I am always open to trying something unconventional and when walking the ramp, I get to try it all. I absolutely love this about fashion shows. Apart from the outfits, every show has a different vibe. It gives me goose bumps when I hit the ramp and everybody in the audience hoots and claps. I walk the ramp for those 30 seconds. They mean a lot to me. I could do it all my life.”
