Pataudi siblings Ibrahim and Sara Ali Khan prove why they are fashion’s new royalty
When Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan hit the runway for in Delhi, it wasn’t just another fashion show moment, it was a whole vibe. These two, with their famous Pataudi roots, showed up and showed out, reminding everyone that royal blood comes with serious style.
This was their first time walking the ramp together, and honestly, you could feel the easy sibling chemistry. They weren’t just modeling clothes; they were having fun, and it made the whole show feel way more relatable and alive.
Mishra’s new collection, The Shrine, takes inspiration from old Indian architecture, think carved pillars and faded frescoes, and he brought that heritage into some seriously stunning couture. Ibrahim kicked things off looking sharp in a gold katan silk sherwani, loaded with intricate mirror and zari embroidery. It was regal without being over the top, perfectly suiting his calm, collected energy.
Sara closed the show in a burnt orange lehenga that sparkled under the lights with sequins, mirrors, and these cool crystal fringes that moved with her every step. It was traditional but had a fresh, modern twist, just like her. She looked confident and totally comfortable, proving you can be glamorous and chill at the same time.
The collection itself was a rich celebration of Indian craftsmanship. There were soft watercolour prints, floral sketches, and layers of embroidery that felt both timeless and modern. From bridal lehengas to breezy anarkalis and some separates that you could actually imagine wearing to a party, Mishra nailed that balance between tradition and today.
But honestly, the best part was watching Sara and Ibrahim together. No stiff poses or forced smiles—just two siblings enjoying their moment, bringing warmth and realness to the luxe show.
After the ramp, Sara told ANI, “It's all the outfit. I think the silhouette is very, very elegant. It's traditional, but it's also comfortable. It has a modern twist to it. I'm definitely comfortable... I'm always nervous. Anything that you love, anything that you value creates nerves and I love what I do and this is part of it.”
You could tell she meant it. The nerves just made the moment that much more real. With this debut, Sara and Ibrahim didn’t just wear couture, they reminded us what modern Indian royalty looks like: confident, fun, and effortlessly stylish.
