Sarah Jessica Parker, also called 'Queen of Shoes' shares that fetish with her onscreen persona Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City. The term's also inspiring the 'shoefie', which is photo that you take of yourself in your shoes.

LampshadingThis is about wearing a pair of over-the-knee boots with a broad hemline that hits above or right at the top of the shoes. Kim Kardashian, Kate Moss and Kylie Jenner have chanelled the style. It mimics the look of a lampshade and is a nod to the retro chic of the 60s.

You don’t have to be a straight and dull when it comes to the trouser anymore. Troulottes — a mix between the trouser and culotte — is throwing a bit of flounce and fun into dressing up. These wide and swingy hem pants have found fans in Victoria Beckham and Olivia Palermo. If they earlier seemed to have an awkward length, that’s no longer the case.
