Couturier Monisha Jaising will have both strutting their stuff on the ramp tomorrow.Monisha Jaising’s known for her ‘runway’ hits, ones that are beautifully crafted and are absolutely wearable. So this time around, the couturier has returned to present silhouettes of drapery changing into corsetry under the theme ‘Goddesses to Vampires’ at the HDIL India Couture Week ramp.
Excited about the drama that will unfold tomorrow at 9 pm, she said, “The collection will begin with an ode to goddesses. It will then move on to vampires. The colour palette will be white, dove-grey and rose for the goddesses, and black, deep purple as well as blood red for the vampires.”
Gold embellishments will reflect the halo effect in the flowy drapes, just the way model Tamara Moss is dressed to kill. Former supermodel Mehr Rampal is the producer of Monisha’s show.
