Sabyasachi to design white wedding gowns for the first time!

The most trusted-designer for brides, Sabyasachi Mukherjee is now going global with an international wedding line. Joining hands with a Hong-Kong based company, he will be selling wedding gowns for international customers. He has collaborated with Lane Crawford, which is a retail company that sells designer labels and luxury goods.

After mesmerising everyone with his exquisite Indian wedding lehengas, he will be now be seen experimenting with western touches. Using the same techniques and handicrafts, the garments will now be moulded to international tastes and sensibilities.

For the 45-pieces collection, the designer will be crafting garments using fabrics like tea-dyed muslin, embroidered tulle and fine brocades. The embellishments will be all about fine pearl work, silk-floss thread embroidery, semi-precious stones among other crafts.

This is the first time he is creating white wedding gowns exclusively for the international audience. Speaking on this exciting new chapter, Sabyasachi expressed his thoughts,
