Rohit Bal ditches his home city this fashion season.
Delhi’s ace designer Rohit Bal is favouring Mumbai over his home city this fashion season. He will present the grand finale at the Mumbai Fashion Week on March 6.
Incidentally, he returns to the Mumbai ramp as a finale designer after 12 years. Last season, he presented an off-site show at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, thereby kickstarting the Fashion Week in Mumbai.

This March of 2012, however, he is all set to don the mantle of Mumbai’s grand finale designer.
“I am truly proud to have been chosen to present the finale in the Maximum City,” says Gudda. His show is said to attract his favourite film stars including Arjun Rampal, John Abraham and Vivek Oberoi along with fashionistas and socialites from Delhi and Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Bal is keeping the organisers of India Fashion Week in Delhi happy with his fashion installation at the venue as he will not showcase on the ramp there. Delhi has been given the snub because the schedule for India Fashion Week isn’t in place yet.
