He is a fan of fantasy fiction and would love to dress up his brides like Cate Blanchett in LOTR; he is quite taken in by Kalki, who he believes made for the perfect showstopper for his ‘future-primitive’ bridal collection in Delhi.And last but not the least, while his PR team in LA keeps a track of all the Hollywood celebrities endorsing his edgy, artistic designs, he keeps no tabs on the high-profile weddings in India where brides choose to wear his couture. After much persuasion, he manages to come up with “Tanvi Kapur”.
For those who came in late, Tanvi married Baidyanath family’s Harsh Sharma in an unusually low-key ceremony in September. “They usually pick up stuff from my store and I get to know much later when somebody writes to me with a picture saying how much they loved wearing the outfit,” he says. We like the modesty.
