Indian cricketers are about to make a style statement. Their box-shaped formal blazers will give way to something funky starting this World Cup season. The BCCI has asked India’s menswear designer Arjun Khanna to revamp the blazers for the players. With the World Cup being hosted by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, what better opportunity than this, to display an uber fashionable look.

The navy blue blazer and the colour of the Indian crest cannot change(that is a fixed norm with the BCCI) but the rest is going to have a world-class finish with a classic style. According to one of the cricketers who loves to get his hair spruced in different looks, “the entire team is looking forward to the makeover.”
Arjun’s excited about bringing in a change for the boys in blue. He says that he kept the weather and environment conditions in mind while designing the blazer. “It has a very classic, strong Oxford influence and the trousers are a simple, straight fit. The Indian team needs a new and revolutionary look. They are a smart-looking bunch and the blazer is something they will carry with elan. It’s not flamboyant, the charm is more in its classic cuts and fit,” he reveals.
