The REAL story behind Isha Ambani's wedding lehenga
The bride Isha Ambani incorporated her mother Nita Ambani's wedding sari in her bridal attire. The 35-year-old red textile was reinvented as a dupatta by the designer duo of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. It was enhanced with zardosi borders and pleated to perfection over her shoulder. It created a beautiful contrast with the off-white lehenga set.
After a round of celebrity photos, we finally got a closer look at Isha Ambani's wedding outfit, which was a bespoke creation by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
Interestingly, the bride incorporated her mother Nita Ambani's wedding sari in her bridal attire. The 35-year-old red textile was reinvented as a dupatta by the designer duo. It was enhanced with zardosi borders and pleated to perfection over her shoulder.
It created a beautiful contrast with the off-white lehenga set. The 16-panelled ghagra featured hand embroidery in jaals, floral panels with finest zardozi, vasli, mukaish and nakshi work. Creating a shimmery effect, were the crystals and sequins used to enhance the work on the lehenga.
