Hollywood star dons Indian design

For all the “Vampire Diaries” fans in India, here’s another link we have with the show now.
Our nice witch Bonnie (Kat Graham) recently wore a glittery midnight blue structured Alpana-Neeraj gown with a long flowy trail, keeping with the superhero spirit of the world premiere of “The Avengers”.
The gown was a part of the designer duo’s autumn-winter collection, showcased at the fashion week in February this year, and Kat’s stylist had approached the designers for it. Neeraj Chauhan tells us, “We wanted to create a sexy evening gown, and give it the feel of reptilian meets metal. It was made with transparent mouldable plastic, layered over glimmering crystal dust sheeted fabric. We kept it futuristic, but sexy.” But what made the duo extremely happy was that Kat didn’t tamper with the garment at all. “She kept it simple, and didn’t tamper much with it, didn’t over-accessorize it at all,” said Neeraj.
Earlier, singer Shinghai Shoniwa had worn an Alpana-Neeraj gown, made entirely of surgical masks, to the UK premiere of “Twilight: Breaking Dawn part 1”, and musician Alexandra Burke had worn their electric blue gown to the 2012 Brit Awards.
