Fashion designers Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor are ready with their Bridal Collection 2010.
“This collection is sheer poetry in apparel. A royal richness is part of every creation. The mood is modern, almost cutting-edge, yet the soul belongs to the glorious and illustrious past,” shares Anjalee. The creations are a rich blend of the magnificence of India’s Mughal era and the grandeur of the Victorian age.
Mughal motifs, along with Victorian embellishment techniques of leafing and appliqués in tissue and silk, create a three-dimensional effect.To enhance the look, hand embroidery in burnished gold and silver complements crystals and precious stones, which intricately adorn the garments.
The collection is available at the Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor store on Jumeirah Beach Road in Dubai as well as their stores in New Delhi, Mumbai and Hong Kong.
