Outfits of Indian Designers at the 77th Cannes Film Festival

Indian designers have outshined themselves over the years, proving their hard work and creativity and turning them into a global vision and recognition which has been very well appreciated by the audience. Not only Indian celebrities, but across the globe famous names have started opting for contours created by Indian designers. Let’s take a look at some of the Indian designers who made a name at the Cannes 2024 red carpet.

Falguni Shane Peacock

One of the most popular designer duos at the Cannes Film Festival, this year was chosen by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to craft her stunning ensemble for the event. She was seen serving two major looks in the hues of black and golden, and blue and silver at the event, with both the gowns having a bodycon cut with a long trail that looked ravishing.

Rahul Mishra

Italian model Paola Turani looked stunning in a strapless black shimmer bodycon see-through gown designed by Rahul Mishra. The gown had a beautiful upside-down cut around the knee with minimal silver glittery cuts around the knees which enhanced the cut and balanced the look with a beautiful neckline of the gown.

Namrata Joshipura

Sobhita Dhulipala made her first Cannes walk and shone in a purple disco-looking jumpsuit which had a mid-cut circular look with a deep neckline designed by Namrata Joshipura. However, it was identical to an attire carried by Indian actress Athiya Shetty, however, Sobhita completed the look with high permed hairdo which stole the show.

Rohitash Notani

Indian influencer and actor Ankush Bahuguna walked the Cannes red carpet in a Rohitash Notani ensemble which was well received by his fans as soon as his looks came out. He wore a satin white blazer coat with a black shirt and tie, paired with black pants which looked like a modern tuxedo look with unique white ballroom shoes.

Chandan Gandhi

Known for his men's collection, Chandan Gandhi curated a subtle and stylish look for Indian influencer and actor Viraj Ghelani, who was spotted wearing a white and black checkered blazer with a black shirt and pant avatar.

Prabal Gurung

This year, Kiara Advani stunned her fans at the Cannes 2024 red carpet with her pink and black bodycon with a mermaid trail vintage avatar which was designed and styled by Indo-Nepaliese designer Prabal Gurung. He also styled and created Kiara’s other Cannes debut looks including the white high-thigh slit gown at the French Riviera, and the orange gown look.
