The designer, who will be showing his collection at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week this month, says that Delhi���s a very fashionable city. ���I think Delhi people are the best dressed in India and they know how to carry off what they wear.I mean, even when they go shopping, they dress up for it. People who are already fashion-savvy are always easier to educate about high fashion,��� he says.
Amit���s collection, which he showed at a recent preview, has been inspired by women like Marlene Dietrich, Dita Von Teese and Sophia Loren.
���This collection is all about a woman who���s married into nobility. She���s a charming temptress who knows how to play the game of seduction. She���s a powerful woman who thinks��the world revolves around her,��� he says. The collection comprises shift dresses, toga dresses, saree dresses, taffetta, silk jerseys, and crepe-georgettes.
