When it comes to day wedding invites, the first question that comes to everyone's mind is: What to wear? One can easily dress up in shimmery saris and heavy Indian ensembles at night, but that's not the case for day events. If you're looking for some sartorial inspiration, then let
Yami Gautam's latest look guide you to nail that perfect day wedding guest outfit.
The 31-year old actress was spotted in an anarkali suit by
Anita Dongre. The lightweight cotton-silk suit featured delicate embroidery with sequins and zari work. Yami looked gorgeous in the refreshing pink shade. The sleeveless suit featured a deep V neckline.
Unlike heavy suits, this delicately-embroidered suit features printed motifs inspired by Rajasthan's forests. She paired it with pink churidar bottoms in matching pink colour. What added contrast to the look, was the off-white dupatta, which featured pink border and floral motifs.
Styled by Allia Al Rufai, her look was accessorised with traditional jhumka earrings from Anita Dongre Pinkcity. Yami went for a fresh-faced look with minimal make-up. For her hairdo, she sported soft curls with a deep side parting. Her look was completed with Kolhapuri-inspired heels by Aprajita Toor, a perfect pick for ethnic ensembles.
