​The 51st edition of the International Emmy Awards 2023, held at the Hilton in Midtown, New York City on November 20, saw some of the most talented and stylish Indians grace the red carpet and the stage. Vir Das bagged a historic feat by becoming the first Indian to win an International Emmy Award for Comedy for his Netflix special Vir Das: Landing. He shared the award with the British teen sitcom Derry Girls Season 3. She also launched one of the country’s first Indian OTT platforms, Alt Balaji. Ekta Kapoor dazzled in a vibrant orange co-ord set that featured heavy silver embellishments and a plunging neckline. She rocked her usual collection of precious gems and crystals on her hands and opted for a diamond necklace with teardrop emeralds. Her look was truly special for a day that celebrated her work.
