Sonam Bajwa’s blush anarkali at the ‘Border 2’ event is modern grace done right
In the era of maximalist fashion, some actresses still believe in the fate of minimal silhouettes, and Punjabi kudi Sonam Bajwa is one of them. Her latest ethnic appearance is just another reminder of how beautifully minimal fashion can be executed with the right styling restraint.
As she stepped inside the grand celebration of ‘Border 2’s music launch, she exuded royalty in a blush-toned anarkali and proudly flaunted her aesthetics in front of INS Vikrant. This subtle and effortless charm, aligned perfectly with her formal celebratory event, made everything look more opulent, grand, and simply iconic.
Sonam was seen wearing a flowy mustard-pasted pink full-length anarkali, sourced from designer Priyanka Singh’s collection. This classic silhouette came with a neatly structured bodice and a voluminous skirt, which added just the right fluidity, and not for once did it overwhelm the frame.
With fitted full-length sleeves, she gracefully added a layer of sophistication, where her ensemble looked polished and almost regal. The fine vertical embroidery tracing back to the neckline with subtle silver highlights added a hint of deliberate placement, which further created a lengthening illusion.
Her whole outfit did not rely on dense motifs or heavy work, but it allowed the natural fall of the ensemble to breathe and take centre stage. She quickly completed the look with matching churidar pants and added a matching sheer dupatta, which carried soft and delicate motifs with a fine border, which she loosely draped over her arms.
The diva opted for barely-there makeup, which highlighted her overall natural glow, and steered the look with heavy contouring, minimal gloss touch, and kohl-stroked eyes. She opted for a centre parting look with open locks and followed the soft-touch philosophy, which sat perfectly with her overall look.
With minimal jewellery and makeup charm, she ensured the focus stayed firmly on her outfit, where this cohesive look matched the sophisticated aura of the event, where she brought a refined approach.
