Samantha Ruth Prabhu turns Mumbai into a Parisian runway in Jean Paul Gaultier’s sculpted top and YSL’s power pumps
She recently attended Tamannaah Bhatia’s fine jewellery store launch in Mumbai, where the latter was spotted amidst diamonds and gemstones, but the real diamond of the launch turned out to be none other than, Samantha Ruth Prabhu. She leaned into a comfortable silhouette but added an edge with her fine tailoring prowess, which shone bright.

Instead of loading herself with jewels and glitter, she allowed the clean lines to be the statement couture code of the hour. Reimagining the Parisian aesthetics, she wore a Jean Paul Gaultier fringed marinière top, featuring a contemporary twist with the designer’s signature stripe motif on top.

The grounded look resulted in a quiet and commanding touch, which was amplified with Saint Laurent’s iconic Opyum pumps, which were instantly recognisable because of the sculptural YSL logo. But, if you think she stopped right there with her luxury narrative, then you’re mistaken, as she further carried a luxe Hermes bag and whispered exclusivity with every step.
Her flawless makeup energy also spoke the same philosophy, where she maintained a sleek hairstyle with open locks, minimal illuminating base, flushed cheeks, muted eyes, and natural, glossy lips.
Allowing her old-money styling to do all the talking, she chose Parisian heritage labels, which are known for their exclusivity, quality, and charm. Each of the pieces brought in independence and understated elegance, where Samantha’s spirit also echoed the same energy.
