Samantha Ruth Prabhu turned heads and stole hearts at popular beauty awards on Monday evening, making a jaw-dropping entrance in a custom chocolate brown gown by designer Kresha Bajaj. The sculpted bodycon silhouette, complete with edgy cut-outs at the chest and sides, clung to her frame like a second skin, an ode to empowered femininity with a dose of sultry drama.
The actress effortlessly balanced glamour with grace, styling the strappy number with soft, tousled waves and muted, earthy-toned makeup that enhanced her natural glow. Paired with sleek matching heels, the look was a masterclass in understated yet unforgettable red carpet dressing.
A video clip shared by a paparazzo captured Samantha posing alongside her designer before striking a few fierce solo poses for the media. Social media erupted in praise. While one fan gushed, “Mommy,” another sparked debate with, “She should have represented India at Cannes. We sent garbage to France.” Several also pointed out her visibly lean frame, a result of the actress’s ongoing anti-inflammatory diet for myositis, a condition she has spoken openly about.
Samantha’s appearance added to a glittering guest list that included Sara Tendulkar, Shilpa Shetty, Bhumi Pednekar, Tiger Shroff, Krishna Shroff, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Alaya F.
On the work front, Samantha continues to push boundaries. After starring in Shaakuntalam and Kushi in 2023, she headlined the 2024 Prime Video series Citadel: Honey Bunny opposite Varun Dhawan. She also debuted her production house, Tralala Moving Pictures, with its first project Subham already in motion. Currently, she’s filming Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom for Netflix and Maa Inti Bangaram under her own banner.
While recent rumours linking her to filmmaker Raj Nidimoru made waves, her team promptly shut them down. As always, Samantha prefers to let her work and her style do the talking.
