Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s 20-year-old bridal look proves why classic red lehenga never goes out of style

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni just took everyone on the sweetest trip down memory lane, and fashion lovers are quietly loving every second of it.

As she marks 20 years of marriage with Bharat Sahni, Riddhima shared a throwback wedding video that feels equal parts emotional and glamorous. Staying rooted in tradition, she chose a classic bright red lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla - longtime family favourites and masters of old-world bridal craft. The ensemble was rich without being overwhelming, layered with gold pitta embroidery, gota patti, brocade accents and fine threadwork. The structured blouse, voluminous skirt and heavily worked dupatta came together in a look that could easily pass for a modern heirloom bride today.




Her jewellery only added to the regal mood. Gold kaleeras swayed softly, red bangles framed her wrists, while haath phool, kadhas and stacked rings completed the traditional Punjabi bridal stack. The statement necklace and earrings, set with gold and rubies, matched her ruby-studded maang tikka perfectly. Ranbir Kapoor, meanwhile, nailed the brother-of-the-bride energy in an ivory and black sherwani.
