Serving a masterclass in ethnics

With Diwali vibes in the air, India’s national crush, Rashmika Mandanna, is all set to slay on the big screens with her upcoming release, ‘Thamma’. But she is already making rounds on the internet, not for her delivery in the film, but for serving back-to-back iconic looks during the promotions of ‘Thamma’. Embodying the spirit of mindful dressing, her looks are a blend of grace and modern femininity, which look simply iconic and are perfect for the festive run. Let's take a look at some of her statement ensembles, which are worth seeking inspiration from.

Bringing black and florals together

Rashmika kicked off the ‘Thamma’ promotions in a sweeping black flared lehenga which carried oversized florals dipped in ivory, grey, and red. A perfect blend of simplicity and statement, this voluminous skirt was teamed with a backless statement blouse covered in sheer full sleeves. The dramatic look was balanced with a delicate dupatta, but the mood was solid, daring, contemporary and confident.

Vintage in timeless maroon

Rashmika stole the show in a golden-maroon blended kurta and matched its prowess with a pair of matching flared bottoms, which whispered the tale of vintage grandeur. The shimmer detailing with floral motifs and bronze tones echoed the refined taste of the star. It was further uplifted with the intricate zari embroidery and was teamed with a sleek maroon dupatta that completely stole the show.

Take some golden breath

Embracing the prowess of anarkali, she wore a beautiful classic rich embroidered anarkali with golden details featuring a deep V neckline with heavy borderwork, which is truly a Diwali standout. Matching it with a pair of churidar and a heavy, embellished dupatta, she made the whole thing look surreal, which almost felt like ceremonial.

Drenched in hues of green

For her recent appearance, she chose a divine yet dark hue that looked absolutely ravishing and serene. Playing with the tone of green, she opted for an emerald-green flared Anarkali, decorated with a beautiful golden zari, which screamed classic. Teaming it with a matching pair of palazzo and sheer organza dupatta, Rashmika indeed took us back in time with her surreal beauty.

Dipped in the elegance of white

For her Delhi promotional event, she opted for a multi-colour, floor-length Anarkali with an A-line flare, decorated with glittering stones that hold the power of the outfit. But Rashmika quickly amped up the look with a contrasting white dupatta with a decorated border, which matched the elegance and pattern of the kurta, giving the look a perfect 90s spin.
