Rasha Thadani’s hot pink sharara set gets an unexpected desi bandhej upgrade

After delivering a smashing dance number in her debut release, Rasha Thadani is quickly carving a distinctive space for herself in the glam world. She has been serving iconic looks in traditional pieces, perfect for the red carpet as well as the wedding season. But this time, Rasha leaned towards minimal traditional glamour and blended seamlessly with the culturally rich aesthetic of Madhya Pradesh, giving us a subtle ethnic look that was definitely not on our 2025 fashion list.

Her latest Instagram drop comes from the streets of Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh. Letting the region’s natural beauty influence her, she celebrated the local culture by dressing up with an unexpected twist. She wore a hot-pink sharara set with a modern neckline and an updated edge. The sleeveless, knee-length kurta created a clean, column-like silhouette and featured gold leaf embroidery, adding soft movement to the overall look.




But the real charm came from the contrasting green bandhej dupatta, which offered a festive pop, stayed rooted in heritage craftsmanship, and served as a nod to India’s artisanal textile history. Rasha’s restrained styling also played an important role, she simply opted for a minimal set of thin bangles, a statement ring, and a delicate red bindi.


Keeping her makeup soft and natural with a nude base, she chose lightly defined eyes, a hint of rose on the lips, and a dark stroke of kohl. This polished yet youthful touch was complemented by a mid-parted twisted crown-braid hairstyle with soft open locks, perfectly suited to the traditional setting.

It was the kind of styling that felt intentional yet effortless, making this look a beautiful pick for the wedding season. Rasha’s pictures looked almost poetic, capturing her posing on ancient stone steps, beside towering trees, and outside the sacred Maa Jageshwari Temple.
