Madhuri Dixit’s lace saree look came with a collar and that meant business

The actress recently gave us a timeless black saree look with delicate lace detailing and an unexpected collared blouse. She picked a stunning drape from the New Delhi-based designer Shriya Khanna, featuring a satin body with a scalloped hemline, with an organza pallu decorated with satin floral appliqué work. But what changed the game was her fitted lace bustier blouse featuring a sweetheart neckline with a standing lace collar and a cut-out at the front and back. Next came the styling done by Sukriti Grover, which made the overall ensemble look balanced, feminine, and of course iconic. Understanding the meaning of 'refrain', Madhuri channelled minimalism in the most chic manner. She wore a pair of statement drop earrings crafted in gold and embellished in natural diamonds, pink sapphires, and emeralds, with a stack of rings from jewellery designer Archana Aggarwal. For her beauty segment, she chose Lekha Gupta, who sculpted her face with highlighter and sharp contouring, blended with soft blush. She further enhanced the look with winged liner and added a hint of pink to the lips. For hair, Madhuri left her locks down with a voluminous effect, nicely done by hairstylist Sheetal Khan.
