Madhuri Dixit elevates wedding-season glam in this luxe Banarasi brocade gown perfect for stylish moms
Madhuri Dixit is not just another name in Bollywood, but she’s an emotion. The ‘Dhak Dhak’ star was the heart of the film industry in the 90s, who charmed the world with her intense acting, magical dancing, and iconic smile. Even after so many decades, this true definition of beauty continues to inspire and mesmerise us with her style.
She wore a statement piece from Reeti Arneja, where the textile and vibrant shades stole the show. Madhuri decked up a handwoven gown, which was built from multiple shades of silk threads and created a surface that shifted with light and carried a soft movement. The designers kept the silhouette embroidery-free, allowing the magical rustic-golden setting and the weave to speak for themselves.
The strapless setting featured a corset-cinched waistline and fine zari embroidery. The upper part concentrated on golden-orange notes, while the bottom palette combined shades of gold, green, pink, and purple, creating a contrasting arrangement. This combination gave the ensemble a structured but balanced look, which truly stole the show.
She completed the look with a diamond-studded choker necklace and matching statement earrings and decked herself out with a large set of diamond rings and bracelets. Keeping her hair and makeup understated, she allowed the detailing of her fabric to take the lead and the jewellery to follow in its footsteps.
With an illuminating base, defined glittery eyes, sleek kohl strokes, and a soft winged eyeliner touch, she added some peach highlighter and complemented the look with dark pink statement matte-finish lipstick. With open soft curl locks and a side parting avatar, she made this clothing piece look like a reflection of her personality, a true style chameleon.
