Keerthy Suresh has consistently captured headlines and the limelight with her impeccable fashion sense. Known for her love of traditional wear, the actress has become an inspiration for countless women. Recently, Keerthy tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Antony Thattil, in a beautiful ceremony held in Goa. Her wedding pictures, which radiated elegance and love, quickly went viral online. While the groom looked dapper in a traditional kurta-dhoti, Keerthy left everyone spellbound in a breathtaking red sari, draped in classic style.
What made her wedding attire even more special was its sentimental value. The ‘Baby John’ actress revealed that the sari she wore belonged to her mother and is an exquisite 30-year-old heirloom. To bring a contemporary touch to this timeless piece, the sari was thoughtfully refurbished by renowned designer Anita Dongre. The designer’s meticulous work, combining silver and red accents, added an air of refined elegance to the ensemble. Keerthy paired the sari with a matching blouse featuring a round neckline, half-sleeves, and a stylish back cutout, subtly infusing a modern twist into her otherwise traditional bridal look.

Keerthy revealed that it was a spontaneous decision as she was supposed to wear a sari given by the groom’s family. However, while searching through her mother’s wardrobe, she came across the red sari and immediately fell in love with it. Keerthy was impressed by how well her mother preserved this beautiful piece and quickly took the decision to wear the shade of sindoori red while taking her vows in front of the holy fire.

Her red-hued sari was adorned with stunning silver floral motifs and came with shimmering zari embroidery. She added a matching blouse which also had the same silver embroidery with a round neckline and half sleeves. For her accessories, she opted for an iconic diamond necklace, matching earrings, a beautiful maang tika, and a set of stunning bangles. Keeping an all-glam yet minimal makeup touch, she simply opted for a low bun neat look and added fresh jasmine flowers, carrying the perfect touch of a South Indian bride.
