Kareena Kapoor’s Ladakh-inspired printed silk shirt and dramatic fringe skirt are the fashion plot twist of 2025

Bebo’s Ladakhi-inspired print shirt and glass-fringe skirt just rewrote the style rulebook

When Kareena Kapoor walks into a room, she doesn’t need spotlights, she is the spotlight. And at an event in Mumbai, Bebo once again proved why she remains the undisputed queen of effortless glamour and cultural curiosity. While the evening celebrated the flavours, artistry, and heritage of Saudi Arabia, Kareena brought her own brand of luxe-desi sophistication to the mix.

2/6

An earthy, experimental Look that screamed high fashion

For the occasion, Kareena unveiled a look that was equal parts earthy, experimental, and undeniably high fashion. Styled by Divyak D’Souza, she stepped out in a striking printed silk shirt from Namza’s “Chu Tso Ri” collection, a piece that felt like a modern ode to artisanal craft. The shirt’s muted, natural tones served as the perfect canvas for the statement skirt she paired it with: the dramatic, handwoven herringbone Amrita skirt from re_ceremonial.

3/6

The artisanal skirt that added drama and movement

This wasn’t just any skirt, it was a conscious, couture-grade creation made from recycled cotton and zari, plant-dyed with myrobalan to achieve its deep kohl-brown richness. The hand-beaded glass fringe along the hem added a glimmering, kinetic edge with every step, giving the whole ensemble a sense of movement and theatre. Only Kareena could turn such a maximalist pairing into something so polished and poised.

4/6

Accessories that whispered luxury, not loudness

And then came the accessories, the Bebo way. A cool ₹7.5 lakh Rolex Datejust with a diamond-set bezel shimmered on her wrist, a quiet yet unmistakable power statement. Her leopard-print Christian Louboutin heels tied the entire earthy palette together while adding that bold, fashion-forward punch she is loved for. Minimal jewellery, just long metallic earrings and her signature wedding ring, let the outfit do all the talking.

5/6

Sleek hair, soft glam, and classic Kareena confidence

Kareena wore her hair slicked back into a sleek bun, a choice that amplified the elegance of the look rather than making it austere. Soft-glam makeup, nude tones, and that unmistakable Kareena confidence finished the picture.

6/6

A heart-melting moment with Jeh

But of course, Bebo had one more moment to melt hearts. Among the many pictures she shared, the final frame stole the show - little Jeh, freshly back from school, wrapping his arms around his mum. A superstar look, a cultural evening, and then a warm hug from her son, trust Kareena to turn a fashion appearance into a story of style, warmth, and pure motherly joy.
