From Zendaya’s saree gown to Gigi Hadid’s jacket gown, Rahul Mishra’s stunning creations are now receiving all the love, attention, and appreciation worldwide. Making India’s couture, craftsmanship, and heritage visible at the global level, he’s one of the few designers who have brought Indian crafts and designs to the global fashion map.
And yet again, he did the same, as teen sensation Ariana Grande chose his magnificent couture for her upcoming film’s promotions, which indeed made fashion headlines online across the globe. Ariana arrived at the ‘Wicked: Part Two’ promotions in a customised Rahul Mishra gown, which was dipped in emerald green and pink hues, defining the film’s universe and matching the personalities of the leading central characters.

On the beauty front, she ditched her signature high ponytail and wore her hair sleek and tied in a high knot bun. With her signature winged eyeliner, glittery eyes, and nude lips, she embodied a high-fashion aesthetic with her makeup. For her jewellery, she kept things minimal and simply wore a pair of diamond studs and a fine chain with a small solitaire pendant attached.
She allowed the whole focus to remain on her dress and kept everything subtle but far from basic. Her couture looked more like a refined costume that aligned with her character’s theme and defined her personality. The ensemble fluctuated between fantasy and form but has already found a place on the global fashion carpet, making Rahul Mishra’s celestial vision a hit in the market.
