Butter yellow, bold moves: Sonam Kapoor’s Serpentine look is a whole mood

Sonam Kapoor’s been known to shake up red carpets and front rows, but her latest look? A total fashion moment. The queen of experimental style turned heads (again) at the Serpentine Gallery Summer Party in London’s Kensington Gardens on June 24, 2025 and trust us, she did not come to play.


Wearing a full leather look from Sarah Burton’s debut Givenchy collection, Sonam went all-in on drama, edge, and major boss energy. Think: power dressing, but with that signature Kapoor twist. The butter-yellow blazer dress she wore was sculpted to perfection - strong shoulders, a double collar, cinched waist, practical side pockets, and a hemline that hit the midi sweet spot. It was classy, bold, and screamed, "I know fashion and I’m not afraid to show it."

To spice things up even more, Sonam threw on a chunky black leather scarf around her neck - a major high-fashion move that could’ve easily gone wrong, but of course, she pulled it off like a pro. Underneath, she kept it sleek with a black inner layer, letting the statement outerwear do all the talking.


And you know Rhea Kapoor was behind the styling magic. The Kapoor sisters brought their A-game once again, teaming the outfit with minimalist black heels, letting the whole vibe stay polished but still punchy.

Her glam? Pure drama. Bold winged eyeliner, full lashes, flushed cheeks, and that lit-from-within highlighter glow. A soft pink lip kept things balanced, and her hair slicked back into a bun sealed the deal. She looked like she walked straight out of a fashion editorial.
