​Blake Lively gives latex a moment during Another Simple Favor premiere

Blake Lively is the queen of transformation, especially when it comes to nailing two different looks on the red carpet. We have seen her make heads turn with her Versace moment at the Met Gala 2022. She has done it yet again. This time for the SXSW premiere of her film Another Simple Favor in Austin, Texas.

On Friday, Blake Lively arrived in a blush pink latex shirtdress designed by Reneé Masoomian, known for her avant-garde creations. Masoomian had recently designed Lady Gaga's latex nail cape for the “Abracadabra” music video.

The Gossip Girl knows fashion has no rules, you set them, and her latest look was a testament to it. In true Blake Lively fashion, the Another Simple Favor actor walked onto the red carpet wearing a blush pink shirt-dress with layers. Well, Lively’s red carpet moment didn’t stop there. She removed the sheer latex overlay, unveiling a corset-style gown beneath. The maxi gown featured a plunging bustier and a flowing maxi skirt adorned had a black belt, which cinched her waist. The gown also features black floral appliqués on its hem and delicate molded lace trim, which elevates the vintage-inspired silhouette.

She completed the look with black peep-toe pumps decorated with pom-poms and feathers. She went with fresh dewy makeup, and her side-parted hair was styled in soft waves, which added the old Hollywood glamour to the whole look. Blake Lively has never missed to impress fashionistas across the globe, and this time it was no different. She effortlessly managed to showcase the transformation of her dress, and who knew latex could look this classy!

Speaking about her return for the highly anticipated sequel, Blake Lively expressed, “It’s probably my favorite character I’ve ever been fortunate enough to play. So when [director] Paul [Feig] asked us to come back, I was so excited.”


Blake Lively was joined by her co-star Anna Kendrick on the red carpet. Kendrick slipped into a black jumpsuit for the occasion. Straight from LaQuan Smith’s Fall/Winter 2025 runway, the jumpsuit with a plunging neckline. The actors posed with director Paul Feig, on the red carpet and later headed to the premiere.
