BLACKPINK’s Lisa turns heads with a rare Birkin bag worth a mansion – flex or fashion history?

After starting the ultimate Labubu trend for all of us, Lisa has now taken her accessory game to the next level, and it is something rare and iconic. Storing away her beloved collection of Pop Mart plushies for long, she has returned to the classics and has made sure that her choice remains exclusive.

But it is not something of a nostalgic bag charm from the 80s but a super rare Birkin bag, which is worth a mansion. During a recent girls' night out in Seoul, she stepped out in a fitted gown with sheer detailing and a steep cut-out around the bust and bodice.

Seeking inspiration from Carrie Bradshaw’s wardrobe from ‘Sex And The City’, she looked young and lively, ready to take over the night with her girls in town. But what we did not see coming was her highly coveted Hermès Birkin bag, which, in a fraction of a second, overshadowed her black ensemble.



Lisa carried a blue ‘Night’ version of the luxury brand’s limited-edition Faubourg Birkin bag that featured a playful silhouette based on the label’s flagship store on Rue du Faubourg in Paris. It is also known as the ‘House’ Birkin bag by the fashion fanatics and is one of the brand’s rarest spotted Birkin bags.


It ranges from a staggering amount of $200,000 to $350,000, which is around Rs 3 Crore, only if it’s secondhand. The original price is way higher than this and sits around the expensive price tag of Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez’s Himalayan Birkin. Well, Lisa, we understand; with that expensive accessory, we’d also wear something all-black and simple too.

Lisa understood the assignment and traded her Hermès for something more functional but covetable. To personalise the overall look, she also carried her Labubu plushie, reminding everyone who the original trendsetter is.


Accessorising the look with her stunning Serpenti Bulgari watch, she left her hair down and softly flaunted her staple bangs, making us fall in love all over again with her statement hairstyle. On the makeup front, the diva carried an illuminating natural base with soft, rosy cheeks and flushed pink lips.

With a Rs 3.64 crore Birkin, it’s just another day in Lisa’s closet, proving that it’s not just another bag but generational wealth in itself.
