Photos: Bollywood shines at Akash-Shloka engagement

Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's eldest son, Akash Ambani is all set to marry his fiance, Shloka Mehta. The final date of the wedding is yet to be decided, but the festivities have already begun. From pre-engagement to mehendi, the couple has already begun throwing grand parties, which have all Bollywood bigwigs in attendance at their residence. And last night too, the Ambanis threw a big bash to celebrate the engagement of Akash-Shloka. As expected, almost entire B-town gathered under one roof to bless the couple.

The couple of the moment complemented each other and happily posed for the shutterbugs. Shloka wore a heavy lehenga for the engagement. The Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga set was a bespoke piece which featured heavy embroidery in pastel shades and applique floral designs. For this look, she kept her make-up simple with strong brows, kohl-rimmed eyes and a soft pink hair colour. Her hair was pinned at the front with loose curls at the end. She accessorised the look with a diamond neckpiece, earrings and a matching maang-tika on her forehead.

Akash on the other hand, wore a dark-red bandghala. The silk texture had a beautiful sheen which was encrusted with studded crystals as buttons. He paired the long coat with skinny white trousers and black shoes.

The mother of the groom, Nita Ambani looked beautiful in a pastel sari by the same designer. It also featured floral work similar to Shloka's lehenga. Joining the floral brigade, even Isha Ambani wore a heavy floral lehenga paired with a shiny silver blouse and an eye-catching choker set.
